The Dalal Family Foundation has partnered with Sankara Eye Foundation USA and Kalyanam Karoti Hospital, Mathura, to establish a dedicated training institute for ophthalmology adjacent to the eye hospital.
The Pravin Dalal Institute of Ophthalmology aims to strengthen resource management at the hospital by providing structured medical training to students. This initiative offers hands-on experience, enabling trainees to actively serve patients with a wide range of eye-related medical conditions while enhancing the overall quality of care.
Currently, 60 students are enrolled in the Diploma in Optometry program, and 200 students are pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Optometry. The management is also preparing to expand its academic offerings to include Master of Science (M.Sc.), fellowship, and Diplomate of National Board (DNB) programs, further advancing its commitment to excellence in ophthalmic education and training.
